Dachser Adds LAX Charter Services

(China-Americas) B777 charter

Breakbulk handler Dachser Air & Sea Logistics has added several B777 charter flights to the U.S. from China in response to airfreight capacity crunch.

The firm will operate cargo services from Hong Kong and Shanghai to LAX. Dachser is also extending its road connections to enable door-to-door transport solutions in major markets throughout the U.S.

“Even in this uncertain marketplace, we continue to see consistent demand for air freight service from China to the U.S. Adding these charters, which ensure capacity, offers our customers a reliable, intelligent solution that ensures cargo will get to its final destination on time,” said Andy Frommenwiler, vice president air freight, Dachser USA.

German-headquartered Dachser operates 393 offices employing 30,600 staff and handles about 41 million tonnes of cargo annually.
