Hellmann Opens Breakbulk Distribution Facility

New Site in Szczecin, Poland

Cargo specialist Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has opened a new breakbulk facility in Szczecin, Poland.

The new site will handle breakbulk distribution within Poland and abroad and is part of a strategy to strengthen its project cargo capabilities. Last month, the firm announced the expansion of its executive board, appointing Jan Kleine-Lasthues, as chief operating officer airfreight, and Marcus Leaver, as chief operating officer seafreight.

"With Marcus Leaver and Jan Kleine-Lasthues we not only brought longstanding colleagues, but also renowned experts in their respective fields onto the executive board. With this powerful team, we are now very qualified for the future, so that we will be able to initiate strategic, and above all, sustainable growth from within the executive board," said Reiner Heiken, CEO Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.

Headquartered in Osnabrück, Germany, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics provides a range of heavy-lit and breakbulk logistics services globally and operates a network of 300 offices on five continents.
