Join MSC at the Breakbulk Europe CONNECT21

Carrier Check-in Session Highlights

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, a global leader in transportation and logistics, is pleased to be sponsoring and participating in the much-awaited Breakbulk Europe CONNECT21, a global online networking event for the project cargo community, from 17-21 May 2021.

The event is loaded with several virtual panels discussions and roundtables featuring the industry’s most prominent experts, industry leaders, and top executives. It also provides a platform for participants to network with industry peers and schedule meetings.'

Ben Collins, Global Project Cargo Manager at MSC, will take part in the “Carrier Check-In: Business, Environment and the Changing Cargo Base” panel to discuss the state of the current ocean transport market, and unveil how MSC has adapted to the challenging operating environment over the past months, while continuing to support shippers of large, heavy and out-of-gauge cargo pieces. He will also examine what lies ahead for this business segment in the future and explain what the company is doing to meet the growing market demand while continuing to invest in minimising the footprint of its fleet.

Participants will notably learn that even at a time when the entire market is under considerable systemic pressure, with unparalleled disruptions affecting all supply chain stakeholders, MSC’s project cargo team is going above and beyond to ensure the planning and execution of special loadings remain uninterrupted, offering the maximum safety and security for each and every cargo project.

MSC, as the main sponsor, invites everyone to register on the event website to follow the discussion online on Wednesday 19 May, from 14:00 - 15:00 BST. The full agenda for the conference is available to view here.
