Masstrans Moves UAE Power Components

Cargo handler Masstrans has delivered a shipment of power transformers and accessories to a substation in Dubai.
 
The consignment involved transformers measuring over seven meters in length, two meters in width and threemeters in height.
 
“scope of work included receiving the cargo under hook from the vessel, customs clearance, arrangement of temporary storage at the port on stools & beams, route survey, road permits, transportation to site and offloading at the laydown area using a 500tn crane,” aspokesperson for Masstrans said.
 
The firm is a member of the Project Cargo Network, or PCN, , in the UAE. PCN connects breakbulk members in over 100 countries worldwide.
