Megalift Delivers PCIC Loading Arms

Project cargo handler Megalift has delivered a set of outsized loading arms to the Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex in Malaysia.

The loading arms each weighed 30 tonnes and measured 22 meters long and 3 meters in diameter. The units will be used to transfer liquid or gas between tanks at the complex using an articulated pipe system.

“Megalift have transported innumerable oil and gas cargo to the Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex and the latest movement involved four units of loading arms,” a spokesperson for Megalift said.

Headquartered in Selangor, Malaysia, Megalift provides logistics services for the transport of heavy and oversized cargoes, lifting and installation, crane rigging, barging and chartering of ships and specialized equipment. The firm is a member of the Project Cargo Network.
