Uni-Home Moves JCB Excavator

(Asia) Shipment Via Khorgos

Freight forwarder Shenzhen Uni-Home International Logistics has delivered an outsized excavator unit from Shanghai to Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The JCB machinery was loaded in Shanghai and transported by road to the transit border at Khorgos. Due to the spread of the pandemic, cargo was stored in a warehouse under lockdown until restrictions were eased and drivers were allowed to enter.

"We have been handling projects for this route for several years and therefore with our experience, it becomes quite an easy job. However, things have changed and it is very different to arrange the project in the COVID-19 period." said Cherry Chow, overseas sales manager at Uni-Home.

Based in China, Shenzhen Uni-Home is a member of Cargo Connections, a UK-based forwarding network which represents breakbulk freight forwarders globally with membership limited to three firms in each country.
