Braemar Rebrands Business Units

Braemar Technical Services, the marine and offshore technical services arm of the Braemar Shipping Services Group, is pleased to announce a name rebranding of its business units with effect from the end of January.

The move, which involves the Braemar Falconer; Braemar Wavespec; and Braemar Steege units within the BTS division, is the latest phase in the group’s strategy to establish a market facing business that can meet an increasingly wide range of the technical needs of the global marine and offshore markets.

With effect from January 31, the following name changes will take place:

• Braemar Falconer Pte will change its name to Braemar Technical Services (Offshore) Pte Ltd. It will be known as “Braemar Offshore”
• Braemar Wavespec will change its name to Braemar Technical Services (Engineering) Ltd and will be known as “Braemar Engineering”
• Braemar Steege will change its name to Braemar Technical Services (Adjusting) Ltd and will be known as “Braemar Adjusting”,
• Braemar (incorporating The Salvage Association) and Braemar Casbarian, which also sit within the BTS division, will maintain their identities as before.

BTS was set up to bring a broader service as well as operating efficiency benefits to customers of its technical services businesses. Rebranding of the BTS businesses will benefit both customers and shareholders by reinforcing industry awareness of the complimentary technical skills within the businesses as well as the scope and depth within the division and the wider global network of offices.
