Aaras Shipping Agencies in Pakistan handled the discharge of 5,000 tons of cargo at Karachi Port.
Sino South, a 26,140-deadweight-ton heavy-lift vessel chartered by Aaras, loaded the shipments at Huangpu and Xingang ports in China. Cargo included transformers, mobile cranes and other heavy equipment, steel plates, wire rods and steel sheets and coils, according to Cargo Equipment Experts on behalf of Aaras.
Aaras completed the discharge in approximately 24 hours. The Sino South has sailed for its next call in the Persian Gulf. Aaras also provided services for customs clearance and transport of the equipment and steel pieces to their destinations within Pakistan.
