Vestas China Supplies Turbines in Hubei

Vestas China has received a turbine order from Datang Hubei Renewable Energy for a project in the Hubei province.

The Danish turbine manufacturer will supply 27 of its 1.8-megawatt turbines for the 48.6-megawatt Long Ganhu wind farm. The turbines designated for the project were chosen for their performance under light wind conditions and have a 100-meter rotor diameter.

The contract includes delivery, transportation, installation supervision and commissioning of the wind turbines. The first turbines are scheduled to be delivered in the second quarter of 2012.
