Delivery of 107-tonne Unit
Cargo carrier Al Mohairaby International Freight has delivered an outsized rotor unit from port to a client’s site in the UAE.
The breakbulk unit weighed 107 tonnes and measured 11 meters long, and 4 meters wide and high. A 10-axle hydraulic low-bed trailer was used for the move.
“A proper route survey was completed prior receiving the cargo on a direct delivery basis … cargo being heavy-lift, only night movement was allowed, so Al Mohairaby took all the necessary permissions to transport the HL cargo without incident,” a spokesperson for the firm said.
Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, AL Mohairaby is a representative of the WCA network, which connects breakbulk providers in more than 188 countries.
