Bahri, NMA Sign Training Agreement


(MENA) Service Related to Saudi Vision 2030



The National Shipping Co. of Saudi Arabia, or Bahri, and the Saudi National Maritime Academy have signed a services agreement focused on youth training in the maritime sector.

The landmark deal will consolidates Bahri’s role in local talent development and promote scientific, professional, and vocational education of Saudi youth.

“The cooperation with NMA was driven by the academy’s experience in the field of human resources development. Bahri devotes considerable attention to training the Saudi youth and developing their skills and competencies in the maritime sector, with the aim of promoting the maritime sector in Saudi Arabia in line with the Saudi Vision 2030,” Abdullah Aldubaikhi, CEO of Bahri, said.

Bahri owns and operates a fleet of six multipurpose vessels as well as crude oil tankers, chemical and product carriers, and dry bulkers. The firm is a global event partner for Breakbulk exhibitions.
