Bahri Posts First Half Growth


Revenue Reaches SAR‏3.14 Billion 

The National Shipping Co. of Saudi Arabia, or Bahri, has posted revenues‏ ‏of SAR‏3.14 billion for the first half of 2019, despite regional difficulties.

The firm reported revenue growth of 6 percent for the first half and income growth of 3 percent, to SAR 581.47 million.
 
“The financial results achieved for the first half of 2019 reflect the difficulties that the region is going through, which impacted the whole maritime shipping industry. Despite all these challenges, Bahri continues with its efforts to improve operations, adapt to the new developments and changes in the maritime industry,” said Abdullah Aldubaikhi, CEO, Bahri.

Bahri is one of the largest maritime services provider in the world and alongside a fleet of breakbulk vessels also operates several double hull very large crude carriers, chemical carriers, dry bulkers and multipurpose roll-on, roll-off vessels.
