Bahri Posts Record Q2 Profit

The National Shipping Co. of Saudi Arabia, or Bahri, has reported record second quarter results with a 1,569 percent jump in net profit

The group recorded net profit for the quarter of SAR 760.61 million, based on total revenue of SAR 3.53 billion. The company also posted a 425 percent increase in net profit for the first six months of 2020 after zakat and tax, achieving SAR 1.18 billion in total for the period.
                                                                                                                       
The group also recently delivered a record shipment of mobile stations from France to Suadi Arabia for the Saudi Electricity. The largest cargo carried for SEC to date it comprised 21 trailers and was transported from the Port of Fos-sur-Mer in France.

Bahri operates a fleet of breakbulk vessels alongside several double hull very large crude carriers, chemical carriers, dry bulkers and multipurpose roll-on, roll-off vessels.
