Haulage specialist Collett & Sons has transported a footbridge from Northallerton to a Worcester construction site in the UK.
The 62-meter cargo consisted of three deck sections, and arch section and two arch ends. The longest sections measuring more than 25 meters in length.
“Having undertaken meticulous swept path analysis reports, all enabling works for the movement and any required street furniture removals on the designated route, Collett safely and successfully delivered the bridge sections to their Worcester destination,” a spokesperson for Collett said.
Based in Halifax, England, Collett & Sons operates a fleet of heavy-lift trucks, trailers and self-propelled modular transports and provides breakbulk logistics throughout the UK and Europe.
