CWL Delivers Dammam Chemical Drums

Heavy-lift firm Crane Worldwide Logistics has transported 223 pallets of chemical drums from Malaysia to Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

The outsized cargo was flown aboard a chartered Antonov AN-225 Mriya, the world’s largest aircraft, and flown direct from Malaysia to Dammam airport.  The drums were collected from locations in Singapore and Malaysia and loaded for the flight in Kuala Lumpar.

“We handle heavy cargo on a day-to-day basis, always looking for the most cost effective and time efficient solution to present to our clients. In this case, the Antonov AN-225 presented the perfect solution and it was a great moment to see this magnificent aircraft land once again in Kuala Lumpur,” said Daniel Cheah, country manager at Crane Worldwide Logistics.

Based in Houston, Texas, Crane Worldwide Logistics operates 113 locations  and provides breakbulk services in 25 countries.
