Dachser Moves Jundai Machinery

(Americas) Delivery via Port of Santos

Breakbulk specialist Dachser has transported a cargo of automotive manufacturing machinery from Brazil to Mexico.

The over-dimensional consignment was loaded in Jundai, Brazil, and included a compressor machine, weighing 125 tons, as well as 14 additional packages of accessories. It was delivered by road to the Port of Santos using multiaxle platform trailer and shipped to Port of Veracruz for onward delivery to Silao, Mexico.

“There were numerous parties involved in this project, from permit providers to brokers to local authorities as well as the ocean carrier and our road transport partners. We understood that keeping everyone updated and fully engaged was key to smooth execution,” said João Caldana, managing director of Dachser Brazil.

Headquartered in Kempten, Germany, Dachser operates 393 offices employing 31,000 staff and handles about 41 million tonnes of cargo annually.
