EGL Moves Cairo Paper Factory

Completed breakbulk transport for biggest paper factory in Egypt.

Cargo carrier Egyptian Global Logistics has completed breakbulk transportation for the biggest paper factory in Egypt, moving components from Alexandra port to Cairo.

The scope of work included discharge from vessel, inland transportation from under vessel, discharge and storage at yard and inland transportation from port to site. Cargo was transported a distance of 320 kilometers in total.

“The main obstacle of the trip was the huge size of the fiber-flow, which was 71 tonnes and 24 meters in length transported using 16 axle lines. The transportation process wasn't easy due to the very bad weather conditions,” a spokesperson for EGL said.

Based in Egypt, EGL is a subsidiary of Kadmar Group and a member of the WCA network.
