Transformers Weighing Up to 78 tonnes
Breakbulk firm Kita Turkey has delivered a shipment of transformers via Borusan Port in Turkey.
The consignment consisted of 38 units and accessories, measuring 9,102 cubic meters and weighing 3,762 tonnes. It was transported using 38 lowbeds and 141 flatbed trailers.
“The 38 pieces of main body weighed from 46 to 78 tonnes and were shipped to the port of loading during day and night efforts of our team of specialists,” a spokesperson for Kita said.
Based in Gemlik in the Bursa Province of Turkey, Kita is a member of the WCA network, which connects breakbulk forwarders in more than 80 coutnries.
