Logimar, AC Projects Move Bilbao Cargo

Freight forwarders Logimar and AC Project & Forwarding have transported an outsized cargo of machine tool equipment from Korea to Spain.

The cargo weighed 17 tonnes and was packed in a crate weighing 5 meters long, 4 meters wide and 4 meters high. It was shipped from Korea to Genova Port in Italy, where Logimar handled cross-docking and reloading for the second part of the transport to Algeciras Port in Spain.

“When the cargo arrived in Spain, the AC Project team took over for unstuffing. They moved the crate to an oversize truck to reduce the transit time to the destination and were able to deliver the cargo to the BIEMH on time,” a spokesperson for AC Project said.

Logimar and AC Project & Forwarding are member of the Project Logistics Alliance, which connect pre-qualified project freight forwarding specialists in more than 80 countries.
