MSL Moves Quetta PBBs

Cargo carrier Msharib Shipping & Logistics has transported two passenger boarding bridges from Karachi Port to the Quetta International Airport Renovation Project in Pakistan.

The PBB units were delivered by road utilizing two multi-axle hydraulics for the base units, two low-bed flat-rack containers for the rotunda and two flat-beds for accessories. The cargo weighed a total of 468 tonnes and was delivered on behalf of the Pakistani Civil Aviation Authority.

“The project was carefully monitored and MSL ensured safety with an on-location project team overseeing the operations … The route plan also required MSL to arrange prior approvals and close coordination with key authorities for security and safety purposes,” a spokesperson for MSL said.

MSL has a head office in Karachi with additional operations in Afghanistan and UAE and is a member of the Project Cargo Network. PCN recently said Kuwaiti member Alghanim Freight, or ATLAS, had achieved ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification.
