(MENA) Shipment from Tunisia via Rades
Breakbulk carrier Tandem Logistics has exported two aircraft engines from Tunis to Aqaba, Jordan.
The consignment was lashed and transported by road from Tunisair premises in Tunisia to Rades port for shipment to Aqaba. The engines each weighed 5.6 tonnes and measured almost 5 meters long.
“Tandem was appointed to handle lashing and pre-carriage of these two units [and] the operation was completed with success despite a lot of obstacles,” a spokesperson for Tandem said.
Based in the Tunisian capital of Tunis, Tandem Logistics is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance, which connects breakbulk providers in more than 100 countries.
