Freight forwarder Al-Bader Shipping has delivered an outsized crane and parts from Kuwait to Singapore.
The breakbulk cargo included the main crane body, weighing more than 40 tonnes, and 12 ancillary containers. The crane unit measured 12 meters long and 4 meters in diameter and was loaded at Shuwaikh Port.
“The main body of the crane loaded onto a MAFI trailer on a roll-on, roll-off vessel, whilst the 12 containers were shipped on a regular container vessel,” a spokesperson for Al-Bader explained.
Based in Kuwait, Al Bader is a member of the Project Cargo Network, which connects breakbulk handlers in more than 100 countries.
