Delivery to Vikram Sarabhai Space Center
Freight specialist Allcargo Logistics has transported a set of air vessels for the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center in Kerala.
The complex project involved delivery of six units, weighing up to 72 tonnes each, and required careful pre-planning. Transport took about two months from Nasik in Maharashtra to Thumba in Kerala.
“Some of the major challenges faced by them during the transfer were demolition of a port wall, shutting down electric supply, pruning trees, union challenges, and narrow roads,” a spokesperson for Allcargo said.
Allcargo Logistics is a private freight forwarding and customs brokerage company based in OIsrael and a member of the WCA network, which connects project cargo companies worldwide. WCA is an exhibitor at Breakbulk events.
