Bolloré Delivers Medical Equipment

Freight specialist Bolloré Transport & Logistics has handled a shipment of medical equipment from China to Switzerland.

The urgent consignment included 92 tonnes of equipment measuring 530 cubic meters and was transported by air to Geneva. Breakbulk specialist Cargolux oversaw flight aboard a Boeing B747-4.

“In order to meet health emergency needs, a crisis unit was created to set up an alternative transport plan for each shipment, combining flexibility and speed of execution. This unit is made up of company experts in the pharma and life science sectors and relies on its international network covering 107 countries,” a spokesperson for Bolloré said.

Bolloré Transport & Logistics is a subsidiary of French industrial conglomerate Bolloré, headquartered in Puteaux, on the western outskirts of Paris.
