CLL Move Dhaka Cable Drums

(Asia) Shipment via Chattogram

Cargo carrier Conveyor Logistics has transported a shipment of cable drums from South Korea to Chattogram Port, Bangladesh.

The complex project involved handling of 62 cable drums, measuring over 1,600 cubic meters in volume at the port of Busan, South Korea. A team from CLL oversaw all loading, unloading and transportation of these cable drums for a substation project on behalf of Dhaka Power Distribution.

“The total distance from Chattogram port to the project site lay-down area, in Amulia Model Town, was approximately 248.4 kilometers. After the Cables Drums arrived at the Chattogram Port, a 30 tonne crane was used to lift off the 62 cable drums and then positioned on the low bed eleven axle trailer,” a spokesperson for CLL commented.

Conveyor Logistics is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh and is a member of the XL Projects network which connects freight forwarders worldwide. XLP is an exhibitor at Breakbulk events.
