FLS Projects Moves Surabaya Cold Exchanger

(Asia) Shipment from Shanghai

Heavy-transport firm FLS Projects has loaded a SAU Cold Exchanger in China and delivered the cargo to Indonesia.

The breakbulk cargo weighed 42 tonnes and was laoded in the Port of Shanghai. From there it was shipped to Surabaya, Indonesia for a major construction project in the East of Java.

“The main challenge that the FLS team overcame was transportation due to the extreme length of the cargo – 20 meters. Another challenge added was a tight schedule for booking a vessel to successfully ship this cold exchanger,” a spokesperson for FLS said.

Based in Laem Chabang, Thailand, FLS Projects provides breakbulk handling worldwide and operates offices in Vietnam, Australia, Indonesia and Singapore. The firm is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance cargo network.
