Freight Traders Delivers Rural Compressor

Delivery to Remote New Zealand Gas Facility

Breakbulk firm Freight Traders has delivered a compressor and parts to a gas storage facility in rural New Zealand.

The outsized unit weighed 72.5 tonnes and measured 13 meters long, 5 meters wide and 4 meters high. Scope of work included receiving, stevedoring, shipment via part charter, marshalling, survey and transport to site by road.

“Transport included two push/pull prime movers to navigate the route to site via New Zealand rural roads,” a spokesperson for Freight Traders said.

Freight Traders is a member of the XL Projects, which connects independent project forwarding and chartering firms to move breakbulk cargoes globally.
