Mercomar Ships Altamira Gantry Crane  

Project cargo firm Mercomar has transported a gantry crane from Spain to Mexico.
 
The shipment measured 950 cubic meters with the main unit weighing 150 tonnes. Auxiliary cargo included 34 meters of long beams, a wooden box, and five 40-foot open-top trailers.

“The port of loading was Bilbao, Spain, and the port of discharge was Altamira, Mexico. This shipment was the first crane from a total of seven that needs to be shipped,” a spokesperson for Mercomar said.

Mercomar is a member a member of the XL Projects network, which connects freight forwarders in more than 80 countries. XLP is an exhibitor at Breakbulk Asia.
