Ryano Moves Novorossiysk Shears

Freight forwarder Ryano Iberia Unipessoal has delivered a cargo of industrial shears and accessories from Lisbon to Russia.

The two breakbulk scrap shears were part of a cargo weighing 192 tonnes in total that was shipped via Aveiro Port in Portugal. A team from Ryano oversaw road transport in Lisbon prior to loading, welding, and lashing aboard the chartered vessel East Blacksea bound for Novorossiysk, Russia.

The firm is the latest member to join the Project Cargo Network, a global breakbulk assocaition that represents cargo carriers in more than 100 countries, adding its offices in Porto and Lisbon.

Romeu Gomes, Operations Manager at Ryano, will represent the firm at the network’s 2019 Annual Summit in Botswana taking place from 17-19 November.
