Shipments to Freeport Bahamas
Multipurpose shipping line SAL Heavy Lift is to transport two power barges from Bosnia and Herzegovina to Freeport Bahamas.
The large unit is a Mermaid Power Barge measuring 93 meters long and weighing 3 tonnes. The smaller barge and equipment weighed 1.3 tonnes.
One of the power barges was loaded in Tuzla onto the semi-submarine Pan Ocean MV Sunrise on account of Karpower … The other unit was loaded on a ferry with 102 meters length overall, and will also be discharged at Freeport, Bahamas, and then delivered further onto Cancun, Mexico,” a spokesperson for SAL said.
SAL Heavy Lift, operates a fleet of 16 heavy-lift vessels with combined crane capacities up to 2,000 tonnes. The firm is a subsidiary of German shipping group Harren, and a member of the Project Logistics Alliance network.
