Ulrichs Starts As BBC CEO

Replaces Svend Andersen

Multipurpose and heavy-lift vessel operator BBC Chartering said Ulrich Ulrichs has taken his post as CEO, replacing Svend Andersen.

Ulrichs has worked at AAL and Rickmers in various management positions, and last in the capacity of CEO of Rickmers-Line.

“We fully support Mr. Ulrichs in his new role, and we have full confidence that he will keep BBC Chartering on its steady course,” said Roelf Briese of BBC Chartering.

The firm commended outgoing CEO Andersen for his work developing and growing  the company to become “the market-leading operator.”

BBC Chartering owns a fleet ranging in capacity from 3,500 to 37,500 deadweight tonnes, and operates the largest global project chartering network with over 400 project shipping professionals across its 33 offices worldwide.
