Universal Logistics Delivers Breakbulk Unit

Transport from North China Manufacturing Plant

Cargo carrier Universal Logistics has completed a breakbulk delivery from North China to South Asia.

The outsized industrial components weighed 53 tonnes and were transported from the manufacturing plant by road as out-of-gauge packages. Measuring 10 meters long, and 7 meters wide and high, the unit was assembled near the port prior to travel.

“With our considerable arrangement in every step involved, this un-containerized cargo covered a possible short distance and was delivered into the port, and was safely loaded onboard as scheduled, together with other out-of-gauge shipments,” a spokesperson for Universal Logistics said.

Owned by Shenzhen Universal Logistics group, the firm is a member of the WCA Projects network, a breakbulk association connecting project cargo companies in 188 countries.
