WWPC Adds ACT in Mauritania

(Africa) Nouakchott Breakbulk Services

Breakbulk network the Worldwide Project Consortium has expanded its coverage in Africa with the addition of ACT Shipping as a new member in Mauritania.

Based in the capital Nouakchott, ACT provides a range of breakbulk services throughout the country, specializing in maritime and logistics services. The firm recently completed several heavy-lift projects in the country, including delivery of breakbulk cargo for the Tasiast gold mine and vessel agency operations for NATO.

“All [operations are] managed by trained personnel with years of experience, some with more than forty years and all with English language skills,” a spokesperson for ACT Shipping said.

Representing members in 78 countries, WWPC connects independent project cargo forwarding companies and grants exclusive membership for one company per country or designated area in larger continents.
