EGL Delivers Egypt Transformer

Transport to Naga Hamadi power station

Cargo expert Egyptian Global Logistics has transported a transformer and auxiliary components to the Naga Hamadi power station project in Egypt.

The breakbulk project involved unloading of cargo at port upon arrival in Egypt, transhipment to land transport and delivery 1,200 kilometers to the construction site. Upon arrival at the Naga Hamadi site EGL also arranged jacking and skidding to the foundation.

“The transportation wasn’t easy due to the long distance [but] EGL continues to impress the market with the well trained staff along with the latest fleet equipment and technology in Egypt,” a spokesperson for EGL explained.
Based in Alexandria on Egypt’s Mediterranean coast, EGL is a subsidiary of Kadmar Group which specializes in shipping services, breakbulk handling and tranposrt logistics solutions worldwide.
