Pekaes Opens Legnica terminal

Increase in Infrastructure Spending

Freight forwarder Pekaes has opened a new terminal in Legnica, Poland, complementing the recent addition of sites in BiaƂystok, Bydgoszcz and Kielce, and is part of a strategy to boost distribution network infrastructure development spending.

“Legnica is the next stage of Pekaes investments in modern terminal facilities delivering even greater transshipment and distribution capacity for our domestic network,” said Maciej Bachman, president of Pekaes, adding that the firm's Chemikals liquified gas terminal in Braniewo "has seen its capacity double."

Representing the Pangea Logistics Network in Poland, Pekaes is one of the largest operators in the country. Pangea Logistics Network includes more than 180 members worldwide and 400 local offices.
