381-Ton Demethanizer Column Transported 200 Kilometers Along Key Highway
Almajdouie Logistics has successfully delivered a 381-ton demethanizer column for the Jafurah Gas Plant project in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province.
The Saudi-based logistics specialist faced several challenges during the early morning transport of the 67-meter-long unit along a 200-kilometer stretch between Zamil Steel’s base in Dammam’s Second Industrial Area and the project site.
Modification work included the creation of a dozen bypasses for camera poles and overhead sign boards and the removal of concrete barricades along the Al Hassa Highway.
The project team were escorted by local police to ensure minimal traffic disruption.
“At Almajdouie Logistics, we take pride in our ability to overcome obstacles and deliver exceptional service to our clients,” said Eyad Hamza Arafah, heavy transportation and project logistics director at Almajdouie. “This project demonstrates our commitment to excellence and our capability to handle complex logistics operations with efficiency and expertise. We extend our gratitude to all involved for their collaboration and support throughout this project.”
