Five-phase Delivery to Buenos Aires
Logistics group Altius has completed multiphased delivery of breakbulk equipment for the Rojo power station in Argentina.
Comprising more than 40,000 tonnes of cargo, the project was completed in five phases, with equipment including a turbine, generator, transformers, boilers and accessories. Cargo was transported from the U.S., Mexico, UAE, India, China, Korea and Thailand among other locations.
“The expansion and conversion of the three power plants is an ongoing project, and Phase 1 of the whole renovation will be completed in 2020,” a spokesperson for Altius said.
Altius Argentina is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance, which represents about 200 pre-qualified project forwarders in 114 countries.
