Completed two air charters from US to Saipan.
Freight forwarder ATS International has completed two air charters from the U.S. to Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands.
The complex breakbulk deliveries involved 45 trailer mounted generators critical to expedite power generation equipment in the wake of Typhoon Yutu. Following use on the island ATS also arranged return carriage to California.
“The ATS International team was responsible for various tasks throughout this urgent shipment; in addition to programming the routing, departure/arrival dates of each aircraft – ATS also collaborated with the airport terminals in Los Angeles and Saipan to coordinate the pre-carriage and on-carriage,” a spokesperson for ATS said.
A subsidiary of Anderson Trucking Service, ATS International specialises in maritime shipping and represents the WCA breakbulk association.
