Delivery from South Louisiana
Project cargo carrier Berard has moved two outsized cold boxes from South Louisiana to Port of Houston, Texas.
The breakbulk project involved transport of two units, weighing up to 108 tonnes and measuring 15 meters in length. The boxes were barged to their desitnation following analysis by Berard Project managers.
“The cold boxes were laoded onto the Berard ‘BTI 1945’ deck barge using Golfhofer PST-SLE transporters. The boxes were secured for marine transit as per the Berard designed plan,” a spokesperson for the firm said.
Headquartered in New Iberia, Louisiana Berard provides a range of services throughout the southern U.S. for heavy-lift and super heavy transport.
