Ceekay Moves Klang Kelly Bar  

Breakbulk handler Ceekay Shipping has transported an outsized kelly bar from Malaysia to Indonesia.
 
The unit measured 21 meters long and weighed 20 tonnes. It was delivered from Port Klang to Jakarta.
 
“The project team had to come up with an individual solution to load the cargo. After discussing with the terminal authorities, Ceekay produced a tailor-made plan which accommodated the safe loading,” a spokesperson for Ceekay said.

The non-vessel-operating common carrier division of the Parekh Group, Ceekay is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance and an exhibitor at Breakbulk Europe.
