Delivery From the port of Valparaiso
Project cargo firm Centauro has delivered several turbines for a hydroelectric project in Western Argentina.
The breakbulk cargo was initially shipped from Europe and discharged at the port of Valparaiso in Chile. From there a team from Centauro oversaw transfer in two loads to trucks for onward movement.
"The [turbines] were transported by road, crossing the Los Andes Mountains to the final destination Mendoza,” Centauro, said.
Centauro is a member of the Project Cargo Network, which connects breakbulk handlers in more than 100 countries.
