Shipment via Santos
Logistics firm CTO do Brasil has transported a cargo of brewery equipment from China to Brazil.
The breakbulk consignment comprised 56 pieces with a total volume of 4,625 cubic meters. Cargo was shipped by barge from Nantong to Shanghai before transshipment to ocean vessel bound for Santos, Brazil.
“After a smooth customs clearance in Brazil, the cargo was delivered by truck to Araraquara at a distance of around 400 kilometers from the port,” a spokesperson for CTO said.
CTO do Brasil is a subsidiary of the CTO Group, which provides breakbulk services worldwide and operates offices in China, South Korea, Germany, Italy and Australia. The firm is a member of the Project Cargo Network, or PCN, which connects ISO 9001 and 14001 certified project cargo and heavy-lift specialists worldwide.
