deugro has expanded its footprint in the U.S. after launching a new warehouse and laydown space in Cedar Port Industrial Park in Baytown, Texas.
The Cedar Port Operations and Logistics Terminal (COLT) has already begun operations and will function as an additional facility alongside deugro’s existing Baytown location.
The facility is located next to the Houston Ship Channel and near all major Houston Port terminals, offering convenient access to the highway network for efficient transport of goods and materials.
The 47-acre site boasts extensive laydown areas including indoor space to accommodate various activities for new and existing clients in the project and supply chain sectors. The site is also equipped to handle all kinds of hazardous materials.
Future plans at COLT include setting up a free trade zone, deugro said.
“The integration of COLT into deugro’s service portfolio represents another significant milestone in deugro (USA), Inc.’s 32-year history of providing first-class project logistics and supply chain solutions,” said Tobias M. Schultz, president, North America, at deugro USA.
“In the upcoming weeks, we will enhance its operations by adding various specialized material handling equipment and resources to the facility,” he added.
deugro will be exhibiting at Breakbulk Middle East on Feb 10-11 in Dubai.
