(Africa) Delivery from Mombasa
Breakbulk firm Export Consolidations Services has transported an outsized crane from Mombasa to Kajiado County, Kenya.
The over-dimensioanl cargo was dissassembled for transport and loaded on six modular trailers, five low loaders and 24 flatbeds. ECS handled all import and re-export procedures for delivery to a wind farm project in Kajiado County.
“Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, business activities have seen a noticeable slump, with government restrictions to curb the pandemic imposing further measures that slowed down the logistics,” a spokesperson for ECS said.
Based in Mombasa, Kenya, ECS provides projet cargo services across East and Central Africa. The firm is a memebr of XL Projects, a global freight forwarding network and an exhibitor at Breakbulk events.
