112-tonne Shipment Via Antwerp
Freight forwarder Europe Cargo has delivered a shipment of cargo-handling equipment from the Netherlands to Peru.
The consignment comprised six outsized grabbers weighing 112 tonnes in total and originated at Nieuwegein in the Netherlands. From there it was transported via Abes Terminal at Antwerp for shipment to Pisco, Peru.
“The cargo was loaded by short crane onto the vessel M/V BBC Emerald. The two lighter grabbers were loaded in lower hold and the four heavier ones were loaded on the tweendeck,” a spokesperson for Europe Cargo said.
Based in Belgium, Europe Cargo is a member of the Project Cargo Network, or PCN, which connects breakbulk operators in over 100 countries worldwide.
