GPLN Members Celebrate in Rotterdam

Event Brought More Than 140 Delegates From 60 Countries

The Global Project Logistics Network, or GPLN, a networking event for independent project freight forwarder members, celebrated its 17th annual general meeting at the Hilton Rotterdam May 20-22, following Breakbulk Europe 2022.

The event brought more than 140 delegates from more than 60 countries, said Luzius Haffter, GPLN’s executive director. “The number of attendees is excellent result, considering the Covid situation and absence of our delegates from China, Russia, Belarus, etc.”

Delegates met during meetings and social events to discuss past, current and future business, exchange sales leads and develop business within the GPLN project network.

Photo Contest

As part of the event, GPLN held a photo competition among members. The winning photo, provided by Best Global Logistics from the Netherlands, an image of one of several modules transported from China to Singapore, with the largest module standing about 34 meters tall and weighed 900 tons in total.

Best Global Logistics will receive a free admission to GPLN’s next annual general meeting in 2023, which will take place again around the Breakbulk Europe dates in Rotterdam (June 6-8, 2023).
