OOG Item Delivered to Baltimore
Freight forwarder Gruber Logistics has transported a heavy cooler unit to the U.S. from Germany.
The outsized item weighed 105 tonnes and was loaded on a low-boy trailer at the manufacturing plant before transport via the river Elbe to port of Schönebeck in Germany. From there it was transferred to by barge to the port of Hamburg and loaded onto MAFI.
“It was then transported … on board the ACL vessel Atlantic Star destined for Baltimore in the USA,” a spokesperson for Gruber said.
Owner-managed Gruber Logistics is registered in Ora, Italy and is a member of the Project Cargo Network, which connects breakbulk operators in more than 100 countries.
