Nearly 150,000 CM of Cargo Transported From China to Dammam
Royal Dutch LV Logistics has overseen the delivery of a dozen breakbulk shipments comprising a combined volume of 149,813 cubic meters from China to Dammam in Saudi Arabia.
Nearly 10,500 packages of equipment and materials were delivered over a fourteen-month period for the construction of an industrial plant at Ras Al-Khair Industrial City. The project was completed earlier this year.
LV Logistics’ Saudi team oversaw vessel discharging, customs clearance, port loading activities and overland transport of some 3,000 loads of general and heavy-lift cargo from Dammam Port to the project site, a distance of about 180 kilometers.
“Upon arrival at the project site, the LV Saudi Arabia-team was coordinating the offloading arrangements,” LV Logistics said. “All shipments were delivered on time and without any incident. Afterwards, the client expressed extreme satisfaction with the quality of our service.”
