OLA Moves Rotary Drilling Rigs

Project cargo firm OLA Groups Logistics has transported two rotary drilling rigs from China to Malaysia.

The main bodies of the ZR280 units were loaded in Shanghai and each weighed 42 tonnes and measured 16 meters long and 3 meters in diameter. The cargo weighed 415 tonnes and was loaded in 26 pieces.

“The OLA Groups Logistics team duly boarded the vessel to carry out the loading, lashing and securing survey. Once completed, the cargo was smoothly and safely loaded and stowed on the lower tweendeck,” a spokesperson for OLA said.
