(Asia) Hercules 3 Floating Crane Utilized
Logistics provider RSL Shipping has completed transport and installation of an outsized deaerator vessel for an offshore project near Jurong port, Singapore.
The unit was unloaded using deck cranes and immediately dismantled for transfer to barge deck. The cargo was sea fastened onboard the barge with soft webbed belts and supporting dunnage/wooden chokes prior to shipment to Dyna Mac shipyard.
“Hercules 3 floating crane discharged deaerator from the barge for direct transfer onto final location onboard module under construction sited at same wharf,” an RSL spokesperson explained.
Headquartered in Singapore, RSL is a member of the WCA network, a project cargo association with members in more than 188 countries.
